Description

The operator clear_sample_identifierclear_sample_identifierClearSampleIdentifierClearSampleIdentifierclear_sample_identifier frees the memory of a sample identifier that was created by create_sample_identifiercreate_sample_identifierCreateSampleIdentifierCreateSampleIdentifiercreate_sample_identifier, read_sample_identifierread_sample_identifierReadSampleIdentifierReadSampleIdentifierread_sample_identifier, or deserialize_sample_identifierdeserialize_sample_identifierDeserializeSampleIdentifierDeserializeSampleIdentifierdeserialize_sample_identifier. After calling clear_sample_identifierclear_sample_identifierClearSampleIdentifierClearSampleIdentifierclear_sample_identifier, the sample identifier can no longer be used. The handle SampleIdentifierSampleIdentifierSampleIdentifiersampleIdentifiersample_identifier becomes invalid.

Execution Information

  • Multithreading type: reentrant (runs in parallel with non-exclusive operators).

  • Processed without parallelization.

This operator modifies the state of the following input parameter:

During execution of this operator, access to the value of this parameter must be synchronized if it is used across multiple threads.

Handle of the sample identifier.

Result

If the handle of the sample identifier is valid, the operator clear_sample_identifierclear_sample_identifierClearSampleIdentifierClearSampleIdentifierclear_sample_identifier returns the value 2 ( H_MSG_TRUE) . If necessary an exception is raised.
