Installing the License Server🔗
The License Server can be downloaded and installed via the MVTec Software Manager. For more information, see the MVTec Software Manager documentation.
Depending on your operating system and whether you choose to install the License Server for the current user or all users on the system, it will be installed to the following locations by default:
- Installed for the current user only
$HOME/MVTec/License-Server- Installed for all users
/opt/MVTec/License-Server
- Installed for the current user only
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Programs\MVTec\License-Server- Installed for all users
%PROGRAMFILES%\MVTec\License-Server
Installing Codemeter Runtime🔗
The License Server requires that the following Codemeter Runtime version is installed on the machine:
- License Server On-Premises
- WIBU CodeMeter 7.60d or later
- License Server Cloud-Ready
- WIBU CodeMeter 8.00a or later
A suitable CodeMeter version is provided as part of the SOM installation.
Important
Installing WIBU CodeMeter requires administrative rights.
