Welcome to the MVTec Software Manager Documentation🔗
The MVTec Software Manager (SOM) is a tool to install and manage MVTec software. By default a web-based user interface provides access to a remote catalog of products and the management of the currently installed programs. If you prefer you can use a command-line interface instead. The following features are supported:
- Downloading, verifying, and installing packages
- Switching between package versions (upgrade/downgrade)
- Offline operation after packages are downloaded
- Command-line operation
- A launch pad
The Software Manager also detects MVTec products installed by other means and lets you switch between their installed versions.
